Public Consultation Launched for 37 Draft Industry Standards Including 'Rare Earth Oxides for Scintillation Crystals'

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has announced a public consultation period for 37 draft industry standards that have completed the development phase according to the industry standard revision and formulation plan.

The relevant standardization technical organizations have finalized the drafting of these standards, which encompass a wide range of sectors.

The drafts include one standard for the rare earth industry, titled 'Rare Earth Oxides for Scintillation Crystals'.

Seven standards pertain to the light industry, such as the one for 'Hair Products - Human Hair Wefts'.

Twenty-eight standards are related to the textile industry, including 'Textiles - Detection and Evaluation of Thermal Protective Performance - Residual Strength Method'.

Additionally, one standard has been prepared for the ordnance and civilian products industry, specifically 'Electronic Detonators for Oil and Gas Wells'.

To gather further feedback from all sectors of society, the drafts are now being published for public comment.

The draft standard documents are available for review in the 'Project Publicity' section of the 'Industrial and Information Technology Standards Information Service Platform' website at https://std.miit.gov.cn.

Stakeholders are invited to submit any comments or opinions during the designated consultation period.

The public consultation period is set from June 25, 2026, to July 24, 2026.
