Nobel and Turing Award winners will take the stage to discuss the future and trends of technology, and the popular professors who "rescue" people from anxiety and involution, Macfarlane and Xiang Biao, will hold an on-site dialogue!

Limited seats available, first come first served. Let us join the sustainable appointment together! [Click to register] In mid-October, Luo Qing, head of the marketing department at Jiangsu Weisheng Network Technology Co., Ltd., was extremely busy: while debugging newly developed AI recording hardware, he was also refining the data pathway between software and hardware. The palm-sized device can convert conversations from offline customer visits and store negotiations into structured data, automatically generate meeting minutes, write them back to WeCom, and complete customer profiles. In just a few days, it will appear at the 2026 World Internet of Things Expo, showcasing to global merchants the ingenuity of Binhu enterprises' "software-hardware collaboration."

Sensors capture the real world, artificial intelligence interprets massive data, and then intelligent instructions are implemented in specific business and production processes. This is exactly the complete chain of "AI + IoT." In Wuxi's Binhu District, AI is no longer a floating concept, and the Internet of Things is no longer limited to simple device connectivity: a group of local enterprises is gradually opening up the entire "AI + IoT" chain along the path of front-end hardware sensing, mid-end algorithm computing, and back-end scenario execution.

Software-hardware collaboration connects front and back ends, building a closed loop of online and offline data

The value of the Internet of Things begins with perception and capture by front-end hardware, and is realized through computing empowerment by back-end AI platforms. In the past, many projects often wavered between "emphasizing hardware over software" and "emphasizing algorithms while weakening terminals." Based on local foundations, Binhu enterprises have embarked on a path where hardware collection and AI platforms advance together.

Targeting the WeCom customer operation track, Weisheng Network, which has deeply cultivated the WeCom ecosystem for 11 years, has given its own answer. As a leading service provider in the WeCom SCRM track, the company has served more than 200 Fortune China 500 clients. The AI recording hardware unveiled at the IoT Expo is precisely the "perception tentacle" for offline scenarios, responsible for salvaging customer information scattered in spoken words and lost outside the door. Luo Qing told reporters that in the past, offline customer visits, store receptions, and other scenarios lacked communication records, making it difficult for enterprises to grasp the real situation of frontline sales. Customer information was seriously lost, and repeat purchases and secondary marketing were fraught with difficulties. To this end, the company has made recording devices into multiple forms such as smart recording cards, recording badges, and recording pendants, adapting to the needs of different industries and seamlessly connecting with speech transcription. According to reports, this hardware has not yet been officially released, but pre-order orders are already fully booked. With the help of the new product, the company's annual output value is expected to increase from 350 million yuan last year to around 500 million yuan, an increase of more than 40%.

With front-end hardware upgraded, back-end software follows in step. The upgraded Qiwei Guanjia 7.0 builds an AI capability foundation on the software side and opens two intelligent agents, AI chat and AI analysis. Enterprises can build exclusive intelligent agents without writing a single line of code. Relying on more than 70 SCRM capabilities and more than 500 open interfaces, AI can not only chat and respond, but also independently archive records, create tasks, and retrieve business data, enabling online and offline customer data to flow in a closed loop.

Scenario implementation: "Carbon Source Sentinel" goes on duty, with energy savings of up to 20%

With hardware in place and software connected, the true vitality of technology lies in real industrial scenarios. In Binhu, "AI + IoT" has already entered factory workshops, sales stores, and other full scenarios, completing the transformation from prototype to value.

Entering a chemical industrial park in Jiangxi, the operation of auxiliary systems such as air compressors, circulating cooling water, and central air conditioning hardly requires manual intervention. Instead, a special "sentinel" dispatches throughout the process. This is the "Carbon Source Sentinel" AI energy-saving intelligent agent built by Jiangsu Lanchuang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. A relevant person in charge of Lanchuang Intelligent introduced that auxiliary systems account for 30% to 60% of the entire plant's energy consumption and currently mainly rely on manual control. These systems have considerable waste, and it is usually difficult to notice. In response to this pain point, the "Carbon Source Sentinel" deploys sensing devices such as current, temperature, pressure, and flow at the front end to collect the operating status of auxiliary systems in real time; at the back end, relying on the Qingyuan industrial large model and the Squirrel cloud platform, AI-Agent completes load forecasting and global coordinated scheduling, and the edge computing all-in-one machine then sends optimization instructions to frequency converters and electric valves, achieving closed-loop regulation. According to reports, the reference energy-saving rate of this solution can reach 10% to 20%. It has now entered factories in machinery manufacturing, auto parts, food processing, textile printing and dyeing, and other industries, promoting operations and maintenance from "experience-based judgment" to "data-driven."

One flower blooming alone is not spring. Recently, Jiangsu Province publicly announced the shortlist for the 2026 "Artificial Intelligence +" typical application scenarios, covering six major directions: industrial development, social governance, scientific research, livelihood services, consumption upgrading, and international cooperation. Four scenarios in Binhu were selected, accounting for half of the city's total. In the future, based on this, a scenario gradient cultivation library will be established to regularly polish "AI + IoT" benchmarks; relying on public computing power platforms, high-quality data sets, and open public scenarios from universities and institutes, making good use of computing power vouchers, focusing on high-end manufacturing, medical research, and urban governance, and promoting case promotion and replication.

Ecological service platforms empower the industry to go further

As scenarios are implemented one by one, technology must continue to iterate, and the market must continue to expand. Behind this, support from a complete industrial service system is indispensable.

With the growth of global artificial intelligence and computing power demand, a group of manufacturing enterprises that previously served traditional industries, energy, communications, and other fields have also begun to enter the data center supporting industry chain. For example, Binhu enterprise Wuxi Hongsheng Heat Exchange System Co., Ltd. is laying out cold source modules for computing power centers and has proposed a localized manufacturing and service plan for data center cooling systems for the North American market.

In response to common bottlenecks in enterprises going global, the Wuxi Taihu Bay Outbound Investment Service Center has proactively stepped forward and provided supporting services. As an important ecosystem event of the 2026 World Internet of Things Expo, the "New Overseas Computing Power Layout, New Opportunities for Industrial Collaboration" overseas data center investment, construction, and industrial chain collaboration exchange meeting held by the center will invite overseas project investors, builders, and operators to Binhu to have face-to-face exchanges with local refrigeration and heat dissipation, precision manufacturing, and engineering service enterprises, breaking down information barriers between supply and demand.

To do a good job in "AI + IoT" ecological services, it is also necessary to accelerate the development of artificial intelligence. This year is the opening year of the "15th Five-Year Plan." Binhu will deeply implement the "Artificial Intelligence +" action, promote the digital economy's advance toward the intelligent economy, cultivate no fewer than 70 advanced and above smart factories, build "AI + Manufacturing" benchmark factories, accelerate industrial empowerment such as "AI + Healthcare" and "AI + Film and Television," and form more new growth points.

In using scenarios to attract enterprises to implement projects, Binhu will deeply cultivate vertical models such as industrial manufacturing, film and television AIGC, Taihu governance, and intelligent transportation, accelerate the development of the intelligent robot industry, give play to the leading role of Xinjie Electric, Longsheng Weirui, and others, make good use of industrial parks such as Fosun and Xixin Valley, and increase efforts in attraction and cultivation around complete machines, core components, software, and more, ensuring that the scale of the artificial intelligence industry doubles in five years and exceeds 21.5 billion yuan.
