Third-quarter operating income will be $160 million to $190 million, Intrator said on a call with analysts, compared with consensus estimates for $192 million.CoreWeave, a provider of computing power to customers like OpenAI Inc. and Microsoft Corp., has become a Wall Street favorite with investor optimism over AI. The company is spending to expand, pouring funds into acquisitions — agreeing to buy data-center operator Core Scientific Inc. for $9 billion — and data center expansions, including a pledge last month to invest as much as $6 billion to set up a data center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.Second-quarter revenue tripled to $1.21 billion, ahead of expectations for $1.08 billion. CoreWeave boosted its full-year revenue view to $5.15 billion to $5.35 billion, while reiterating its capital expenditure and adjusted operating income forecasts.Last quarter, its capital expenditures were $2.9 billion, $1 billion higher than in the first quarter, as it sought to keep pace with demand for its data center capacity.
