CMON (HKEX: 01792) has announced the termination of its proposed acquisition of approximately 2.2% of the issued share capital of Blissful Link Investments Limited for HK$16.5 million.
The company stated that the decision was made because certain pre-conditions for completing the transaction, as stipulated in the agreement, were not fulfilled.
The board of directors believes that calling off this acquisition will not have any materially adverse impact on the group's business operations, financial performance, or overall financial condition.
