In order to firmly carry out care and support work for special groups in the area and strengthen community safety, the Beij ingye Community in Shiyou Subdistrict recently joined forces with local police and the community health service center to conduct home visits for residents with mental health conditions.
During the visits, staff members had friendly conversations with patients and their families to gain a detailed understanding of the patients' recent physical condition, emotional state, and home life. Medical personnel provided personalized medication guidance and rehabilitation advice on site, answered questions about daily care, and urged family members to ensure patients take medication regularly and receive proper care. At the same time, police focused on checking for home safety hazards, emphasized family guardianship responsibilities, and reminded families to closely monitor patients' conditions and promptly communicate with the community and local police station if any abnormal situations arise, so as to ensure safety and stability in the area.
Afterward, community staff carefully recorded actual needs, patiently explained relevant support policies, and encouraged families to face challenges positively and provide scientific care, creating a warm and inclusive rehabilitation environment.
Going forward, the Beij ingye Community will continue to deepen the police-medical-community coordination mechanism, carry out regular follow-up care services, and thoroughly implement bottom-line support for special groups, striving to build a safe, harmonious, and caring community.
