Chip stocks fell broadly. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index lost over 5%. Intel and Marvell Technology declined more than 7%, ARM Holdings fell over 6%, AMD shed more than 5%, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing dropped over 4%, and NVIDIA slipped more than 2%.
