MicroPort NeuroScientific Corporation (2172) Announces Changes to Board and Chairman

MicroPort NeuroScientific Corporation (2172) has announced several changes to its Board of Directors, effective November 14, 2025. According to the announcement, both Dr. Chang Zhaohua and Mr. Sun Qingwei have resigned as non-executive directors, with Dr. Chang relinquishing his role as chairman due to other business commitments. They confirmed no disagreement with the Board, and there are no additional matters requiring shareholder attention.

Dr. Zhang Jie has been appointed as a non-executive director and chairman of the Board. He has served in leadership roles at MicroPort Scientific Corporation (853) and has contributed extensively to research and development. Dr. Zhang holds a bachelor’s degree in communication engineering, a master’s degree in test and measurement technology and instrumentation, and a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering.

Additionally, Mr. Liu Xudong has been appointed as a non-executive director. He brings nearly 25 years of healthcare marketing experience, with prior roles including senior positions at Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics Co., Ltd. (300760.SZ) and Shanghai BioGerm Medical Technology Co., Ltd.

Both new directors will enter into a letter of appointment with the Company, subject to rotation and re-election at annual general meetings. No remuneration will be provided for their roles as non-executive directors. The Board extends its gratitude to the outgoing directors and a warm welcome to the new appointees.
