At its 2026 interim results conference held on August 28, China Life Insurance Company Limited addressed its shareholder return and dividend strategy. President Li Mingguang stated that the company consistently places high importance on sharing developmental achievements with its shareholders, striving to maintain a relatively stable and improving dividend payout to fully allow investors to benefit from the company's long-term, steady growth.
Li revealed that the company plans to distribute an interim cash dividend of RMB 10.119 billion, marking a substantial 50.4% increase year-on-year. Since its initial public offering, China Life has accumulated total dividends exceeding RMB 255 billion, underscoring its strong commitment to rewarding shareholders.
Li explained that when formulating the annual dividend distribution plan, the company will comprehensively consider factors such as listing regulations on dividend distribution, profitability, solvency, and business development needs, endeavoring to strike a balance between the company's healthy growth and shareholders' long-term interests.
