Data collected by Sina Finance's "Liquor Price Insider" over the past 24 hours shows that on October 21, the average terminal retail prices of 12 major Chinese baijiu products recorded two gains, nine declines, and one unchanged, with declining products holding an absolute advantage and cumulative losses clearly exceeding the gains, sending the overall price board sharply lower after a rare flat session the previous day.
On the gainers' side, Wuliangye 1618 rose 1 yuan to 831 yuan, quickly recovering lost ground after a brief pullback yesterday and returning to recent highs, while Yanghe Dream of Blue M6+ climbed 3 yuan to 614 yuan, ending a prior three-day losing streak and halting its short-term slide.
On the decliners' side, Feitian Moutai fell 1 yuan to 1,790 yuan, touching the lower edge of its recent range; Jingpin Moutai dropped 3 yuan to 2,463 yuan, easing slightly after yesterday's gain and returning to its recent consolidation range; Wuliangye Pu Wu Ba Dai declined 5 yuan to 797 yuan, posting a second consecutive drop totaling two notches and losing the 800-yuan round-number threshold; Qinghua Fen 20 slid 5 yuan to 395 yuan, pulling back quickly after a brief rebound to 400 yuan yesterday, with that round number proving to be strong resistance; Guojiao 1573 tumbled 7 yuan to 887 yuan, falling for a second straight day as its earlier upward momentum clearly cooled; Gujing Gong Gu 20 dropped 6 yuan to 535 yuan, ending a four-day winning streak and giving back nearly two days of gains; Xijiu Junpin plunged 7 yuan to 633 yuan, weakening rapidly after yesterday's flat session and sinking to recent lows; Qinghualang fell 6 yuan to 708 yuan, abruptly ending a seven-day winning streak after hitting a nearly 30-day high yesterday triggered a pullback; and Crystal Jiannanchun slipped 1 yuan to 410 yuan, edging lower after yesterday's flat session.
On the unchanged side, Moutai 1935 held steady at 684 yuan for a third consecutive day.
The total terminal retail price of the 12 major products fell markedly today, with nine products posting declines. Among them, Qinghualang, Guojiao 1573, Xijiu Junpin, and Gujing Gong Gu 20 saw relatively prominent drops, with the declining side exerting an obvious drag on the overall price board. If one bottle of each of the 12 major products were packaged and sold together, today's total price would be 10,747 yuan, down sharply by 37 yuan from yesterday, ending the prior high-level sideways trading and marking the lowest level in nearly six days.
The "Liquor Price Insider" sources its daily data from roughly 200 collection points reasonably distributed across all major regions nationwide, including but not limited to liquor companies' designated distributors, social distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The raw sampled data consists of real transaction terminal retail prices handled at each point over the past 24 hours, striving to provide all sectors with objective, scientific, and fully traceable data on the market prices of major baijiu products.
With the official i-Moutai platform launching sales of Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle for New Year's Day (raised to 1,539 yuan per bottle on March 31 and again to 1,639 yuan per bottle on July 18), and Jingpin Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle on January 9 (raised to 2,359 yuan per bottle on May 16), this new channel's magnetic influence on the average terminal retail prices of both products has gradually become apparent. The daily liquor prices published by "Liquor Price Insider" follow a calculation rule weighted by real transaction volumes, and we have incorporated quantifiable prices into the calculation of terminal retail prices for the two liquor products. On important news in the baijiu industry, on October 20, Wang Li, General Manager of China Kweichow Moutai Distillery (Group) Co., Ltd. and Acting General Manager of Kweichow Moutai Co., Ltd., attended the opening ceremony of the 2026 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference and shared important views on the underlying logic of Kweichow Moutai's sustainable development.
Wang Li stated that the essence of Moutai's sustainable development is a sustained commitment to core long-term value at the foundational level, with the key lying in safeguarding three major codes: consistently stable quality, distinctive and unique character, and a deeply rooted brand, while also protecting the "triple ecology" of natural ecology, micro-ecology, and human ecology that gives rise to Moutai liquor.
Specifically, first, protect the natural ecology to continuously create stable and consistent "quality value"; second, protect the micro-ecology with reverence for the "invisible brewer" to create distinctive and unique "character value"; and third, protect the human ecology with respect for the "inheritors of craftsmanship" to create enduring "brand value."
Wang Li believes that it is precisely this long-term commitment to quality, character, brand, and the "triple ecology" that constitutes the important foundation of Moutai's sustainable development.
