GEEKPLUS-W Adds 1.00 Million Shares to Treasury, Utilising 47.6% of Current Buyback Mandate

Beijing Geekplus Technology Co., Ltd. (GEEKPLUS-W) disclosed that it repurchased 1.00 million Class B WVR ordinary shares on 23 September 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were bought at prices between HKD 7.83 and HKD 8.16, with an average cost of approximately HKD 7.89 per share, bringing total consideration to HKD 7.89 million.

Following the transaction, the company’s treasury stock rose to 48.73 million shares from 47.73 million, while outstanding shares (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 975.42 million. The buyback represents 0.102% of the company’s previously issued share capital and leaves the overall issued share count unchanged at 1.02 billion.

The repurchase was executed under the mandate approved by shareholders on 26 May 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 102.42 million shares. To date, Geekplus has repurchased 48.73 million shares, equivalent to 47.6% of the mandate limit and 4.76% of the issued shares outstanding on the mandate date.

All regulatory requirements of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s Main Board Rules were met. Under listing regulations, the company is now subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares, ending on 23 October 2026.
