Shanwei E-commerce Professional Skills Competition Opens for Registration

Deep News10-13

Registration has recently opened for the 2026 Shanwei E-commerce Professional Skills Competition.

The event is closely aligned with the city's "Hundred Counties, Thousand Towns, Ten Thousand Villages High-Quality Development Project" work plan and carries the theme "Skills Shine in Shanwei, Commerce Connects the World." It aims to cultivate local e-commerce skilled talent, empower the digital transformation of distinctive industries, broaden online sales channels for quality Shanwei products, and support the high-quality development of the city's real economy.

The competition is hosted by the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and organized by the Urban District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Shanwei Technician College.

The competition is scheduled for late October, with the venue set at Shanwei Technician College.

The competition category is E-commerce Professional (Online Merchant), divided into two groups: Technician and Senior Worker. Each group will register, set questions, score, and award prizes independently.

There will be no separate written theory examination. Theoretical knowledge will be integrated into the practical assessment, combined with Shanwei's local industrial characteristics, focusing on evaluating contestants' professional abilities in e-commerce marketing, competitive product analysis, business data processing, and operational practice.

The competition offers generous incentives: each of the two groups will select 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 6 third prizes. Contestants who pass the assessment and rank in the top 50% of total participants will receive an Excellence Award.

For contestants who win an Excellence Award or above, Shanwei Technician College may, in accordance with regulations, issue the corresponding level of National Vocational Skills Level Certificate for E-commerce Professionals. For first-prize winners in the Technician group who meet the conditions, they may be promoted by one level (Senior Technician). For units with strong organization and outstanding contestant performance, an Outstanding Organization award plaque will be granted.

It is understood that registration is open to persons aged 16 or above who hold Shanwei household registration or who reside, work, or study in the city. Contestants applying for the Technician group must hold a Senior Worker or above vocational skills level certificate in E-commerce Professional or a related category.

It is worth noting that individuals who have already been awarded titles such as "Guangdong Provincial Technical Expert," "Nanyue Technical Expert," "National Technical Expert," or the "China Skills Grand Prize," as well as those who have previously won first prize in provincial-level or above "Cantonese Cuisine Chef" series skills competitions, are not eligible to participate.

The registration deadline is October 23. Both individual self-registration and unified recommendation by organizations are accepted.

In addition, the event is simultaneously opening recommendations for referee candidates. Vocational colleges and industry enterprises are all welcome to recommend eligible personnel to participate in judging the competition.
