Bank of Suzhou Announces Lawsuit Update: First Instance Dismisses Complaint by Ordos Dongsheng Branch of Inner Mongolia Rural Commercial Bank

On November 21, Bank of Suzhou Co., Ltd. (002966) disclosed in an announcement that on October 12, 2024, the company received a "Civil Ruling" involving a claim of 981 million yuan plus all litigation costs. On November 20, 2025, the bank received two additional "Civil Rulings" from the Ordos Intermediate People's Court in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The first ruling permitted the Ordos Dongsheng Branch of Inner Mongolia Rural Commercial Bank to replace Ordos Rural Commercial Bank as the plaintiff in the case, with the latter withdrawing from the litigation. The second ruling dismissed the complaint filed by the Ordos Dongsheng Branch of Inner Mongolia Rural Commercial Bank.

At present, it remains uncertain whether the involved parties will appeal the ruling within the statutory time limit. Bank of Suzhou stated it will continue monitoring further developments and fulfill its information disclosure obligations accordingly.
