China to Facilitate Early Operational Launch of Global AI Cooperation Body

On July 16th, a ceremony for the signing of the agreement to establish the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization was held in Shanghai. Representatives from 29 nations signed the agreement, becoming founding member states.

At a regular press briefing on the 17th, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian stated that in the next phase, China will collaborate with all founding member states to promote the organization's commencement of operations at the earliest opportunity.
