The S&P 500 opened flat as investors looked ahead to big technology earnings for further clues into the health of the U.S. economy.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened down 65 points, or 0.2%. S&P 500 futures were up 0.2%, while Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.6%.

Coca-Cola shares rose more than 2% after the beverage giant’ third-quarter earnings and sales beat Street forecasts. The company also raised its full-year outlook as demand remains steady even as it has raised prices to make up for higher expenses.
