Solstad's Vessel Normand Fortress Secures $56 Million Extension from Petrobras

Norwegian offshore vessel operator Solstad Maritime has confirmed a two-year contract extension with Petrobras for the Normand Fortress, a subsea construction vessel.

The extension will commence in early July 2026. Under the renewed agreement, the vessel will provide accommodation services to support production activities on the Brazilian continental shelf.

The total value of the contract extension is approximately $56 million.

The vessel will be chartered on a bareboat basis from Solstad Maritime to Solstad Offshore, which is the entity holding the contract with Petrobras.
