BLACK SESAME (02533) has announced that the group expects to record revenue of no less than 458 million yuan for the six months ending June 30, 2026, representing an increase of at least 81.1% compared to the same period in 2025.
According to the company's filing, the projected net loss for the period is estimated to be between 720 million yuan and 820 million yuan, which remains broadly stable compared to the approximately 762 million yuan net loss recorded in the prior corresponding period.
The anticipated revenue growth is primarily attributed to two key factors. First, the group's BLACK SESAME robotics business achieved substantial growth, with accelerated deployment of robotics-related solutions, modules, and chips. The company has become a long-term partner for leading domestic robotics manufacturers, and its revenue contribution from this segment has significantly increased year-on-year. Second, the company's high-level assisted driving solutions have achieved continuous mass production and delivery in the passenger car market, with passenger vehicle assisted driving business expanding rapidly through new projects and volume production at major OEMs. Additionally, driven by the implementation of relevant regulations in the commercial vehicle and special vehicle sectors, the installation rate of L2 to L3 level assisted driving systems in these fields has notably increased year-on-year. BLACK SESAME has now largely covered leading manufacturers in the commercial and special vehicle sectors.
The projected net loss for the reporting period is primarily due to two factors. First, increased investment in computing power and artificial intelligence-related areas has led to a rise in associated expenses. Second, to maintain the market competitiveness of its chips and solution products, the group has increased research and development spending in fields such as large model algorithms and automotive-grade chips.
