U.S. stocks ended down last Friday (March 13), capping a week in which erratic crude oil prices whipsawed equities, as investors gauged how the war in Iran was affecting the global oil supply.

Regarding the options market, a total volume of 65,025,840 contracts was traded last Friday.

Meta Platforms, Inc. stock tumbled 3.8% last Friday on a report that the Facebook and Instagram parent was delaying the release of its upcoming AI model after it failed to perform as well as rivals. Meta may even consider temporarily licensing Google’s Gemini for use in its products, the New York Times reported, citing unnamed sources.

A total number of 860.29K options related to Meta Platforms, Inc. were traded last Friday, of which call options accounted for 63%. Particularly high volume was seen for the $620 strike call option expiring Mar 13, with 35,659 contracts trading.

NVIDIA shares slid 2% last Friday.

A total number of 3.42 million options related to NVIDIA were traded last Friday, of which call options accounted for 61%. Particularly high volume was seen for the $185 strike call option expiring Mar 13, with 283,794 contracts trading.

Shares of Micron Technology rallied 5% last Friday.

A total number of 760.21K options related to Micron Technology were traded last Friday, of which call options accounted for 54%. Particularly high volume was seen for the $425 strike call option expiring Mar 13, with 52,177 contracts trading.
