Longhui International details progress on trading resumption; forensic review finds no misconduct as results backlog clears, shares remain suspended

Bulletin Express09-23

Longhui International Holdings Limited on 23 September 2026 released its quarterly update, outlining strides made toward meeting Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) resumption requirements while confirming that its shares remain suspended since 31 March 2025.

Key findings of the now-completed independent forensic investigation, previously disclosed on 13 August 2026, were reiterated: the principal allegations of fraud, asset misappropriation, improper financial arrangements, accounting manipulation, or capital withdrawal were “unsubstantiated.” The conclusions, already submitted to regulators, identified no material misconduct by current directors or management.

A parallel internal control review, also finalised, highlighted mainly operational and administrative gaps in documentation, record-keeping and control procedures. Enhancement measures have since been adopted, and the company reports ongoing cooperation with regulatory enquiries.

With the forensic work completed, Longhui has accelerated financial reporting. The delayed FY 2024 annual results were published on 27 August 2026, the FY 2025 interim results on 11 September 2026, and both the FY 2025 annual results and 1H 2026 interim figures on 23 September 2026. Preparation of the FY 2024 annual report, FY 2025 interim and annual reports, and the 1H 2026 interim report is under way; annual general meetings for 2025 and 2026 will be convened once documentation is finalised.

To satisfy remaining resumption conditions, the company has submitted a proposal to HKEX and continues to respond to exchange queries. Management states it “remains committed” to restoring trading as soon as practicable.

Operationally, the group’s mainland China hotpot chains, Faigo and Xiao Faigo Hotpot, are reported to be “continuing as usual.” In September 2026 the company completed the acquisition of a 51% stake in Hong Kong-based Thai hotpot operator Go Forward Corporation Limited, consolidating its assets and liabilities. The board views the deal as a platform to expand Longhui’s catering footprint.

Trading in Longhui International’s shares will stay suspended until further notice. Investors are urged to exercise caution when dealing in any securities of the company.
