Xiaomi's Vision GT Concept Car Makes Domestic Debut, CEO Acknowledges Public Misconceptions

At the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show opening today, Xiaomi Group's Chairman and CEO Lei Jun delivered a speech during the Xiaomi Auto product launch. The Xiaomi Vision GT concept car, which had its global premiere at MWC 2026, was showcased domestically for the first time. Lei Jun highlighted that the concept model achieves an aerodynamic efficiency of 4.1, a downforce coefficient of 1.2, and a drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.29. He acknowledged that many people still have limited understanding or hold biases toward Xiaomi's automotive ventures, and invited attendees to visit the company's exhibit to see a different side of Xiaomi Auto.
