Heihe City Charges Ahead with Strong Start to the Year

Deep News02-24

At the beginning of 2026, Heihe City has adopted a vigorous "starting at a sprint" posture, vigorously promoting industrial upgrades and project construction. From deeply breaking boundaries in traditional industrial chains to accelerating the renewal of development momentum, and the comprehensive heating up of the consumer market, the city is laying a solid foundation for the start of the "16th Five-Year Plan" period, presenting a vibrant picture of revitalization and development.

**Industrial Boundary-Breaking: From a Single Feather to Full-Chain Value Addition**

At the end of January, the badminton production line of Heilongjiang Chaoyu Intelligent Development Co., Ltd., located in the Nenjiang City SME Incubation Park, officially commenced operations. This is the province's first badminton production project, signifying a key step for the Nenjiang goose industry in breaking through the boundaries of traditional breeding and processing into the high value-added deep processing sector. As a core goose breeding area in the province, Nenjiang City has in recent years deeply cultivated a full-chain layout for the goose industry. In 2025, the city's goose stock reached 6.68 million, with an annual slaughtering capacity of 12 million, establishing a complete industrial system from breeding and incubation, to large-scale farming, slaughtering, processing, and brand building.

The landing of the badminton project represents a crucial leap, marking the formation of a closed-loop, integrated industrial chain encompassing "breeding - slaughtering - deep processing - brand marketing." It is reported that Heilongjiang Chaoyu Intelligent Development Co., Ltd. currently has an annual production capacity of 200,000 dozen badminton shuttlecocks, with an annual output value exceeding 30 million yuan, effectively driving local resource conversion, employment, and income growth. "After the second-phase project is operational, annual production will reach 1 million dozen, with an estimated annual output value of 200 to 300 million yuan," said company General Manager Zhang Tianxing.

The depth of the industrial chain determines the height of its value. In Xunke County, the goose product processing plant is a scene of bustling activity, with workers rushing production and stockpiling before the holiday sales peak. "Currently, the factory is working overtime to produce over 1,500 kilograms of goose products daily, with red wine foie gras and clear wine foie gras being the best sellers," workshop director Wei Lina reported. Xunke County has now formed a preliminary closed-loop industrial chain for the breeding and processing of Landes geese, achieving a breeding-end loss rate of less than 2% and a maximum Grade A liver yield of 82%.

In January of this year, Xunke County's Landes goose brand direct sales store made its debut in Harbin, offering 25 core products across three major categories, and introducing innovative items like red wine blueberry foie gras and cherry foie gras. To date, Xunke's Landes goose foie gras has successfully entered the high-end catering markets of first-tier cities like Shanghai and Guangzhou, establishing long-term cooperation with 12 chain hotels. Annual processing of fattened goose liver is projected to reach 12 tons, with output value surpassing 20 million yuan. "This year, the total number of Landes geese bred is expected to reach 600,000, achieving the target annual output value of 120 million yuan," said Wang Wei, Director of the Xunke County Rural Revitalization Center, indicating that a new path for "high-latitude, cold-region characteristic agriculture" is being clearly charted.

Simultaneously, the limitless potential of "a single soybean" is being deeply cultivated. In the production workshop of Bei'an Huasheng Food, organic soybeans are cold-pressed into golden cooking oil and high-protein soybean meal. Since its official launch in mid-December 2025, the project has quickly achieved strong production and sales. "Daily raw material consumption is 22 tons, and orders are booked until next quarter," said project leader Li Hongdan. The company is developing high value-added products like soybean noodles, organic black soybeans, and double-green beans, aiming to build a complete closed loop from planting to deep processing. Upon reaching full capacity, annual sales are expected to exceed 100 million yuan.

**Renewed Momentum: From Paper Signings to On-the-Ground Roar**

Development momentum gathers through concrete action. At the end of 2025, Sunwu County successfully held the "Invest in Heilongjiang" 2025-2026 Winter Investment Promotion Kick-off Meeting, launching the winter investment drive. Eight key industrial projects and several cooperative projects were signed at the meeting, with a total contract value exceeding 1 billion yuan. In January of this year, a "Winter Investment Promotion Conference" in Bei'an City resulted in the signing of 33 projects, with a total investment of 18.905 billion yuan, covering new sectors like low-altitude economy and new energy. "The government has genuinely warmed our hearts," remarked a representative from one signed enterprise, affirming the local "responsive" business environment and solidifying investment confidence.

The focus extends beyond "signing" to "building." At the wind power project site in Aihui District, 95-meter-long turbine blades were precisely connected at heights of over 100 meters, as construction crews raced against the limited "weather window" in the severe cold. For the wind farm with a total capacity of 200 megawatts, turbine installation is over halfway complete. Upon full grid connection in June, it is projected to deliver 470 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually. Over its lifecycle, the project is expected to generate total sales revenue of approximately 2.38 billion yuan, offering both ecological and socio-economic benefits.

In Wudalianchi, a soda water production line, nourished by the world's cold springs, operates at full speed 24/7, producing 36,000 bottles per hour. Inside the intelligent workshop of Great Wall Seed Industry, a new production line processes 200 tons of high-quality seeds daily, ensuring ample supply for spring ploughing. The company's self-developed high-oil and high-protein varieties are highly recognized in the market, with orders covering over 280 distributors and cooperatives.

Meanwhile, the workshops of Nenjiang Yuanhe Agricultural Machinery are filled with the roar of machines. To support spring ploughing, daily production capacity has been increased by 40%. It is estimated that 500 units of agricultural machinery will be produced in the first quarter, a 15% year-on-year increase, providing solid support for the supply of agricultural machinery for spring ploughing preparations in the local and surrounding areas.

**Market Heating Up: From Government Vouchers to Public Shopping Joy**

Industrial upgrades and project construction ultimately serve the market and people's livelihoods. On February 5th, the Daheihe Island International Trade City was bustling with crowds as the 4th Heihe New Year Shopping Fair and the "Shopping in China" Happy New Year shopping promotion series kicked off under the theme "Enjoy Cross-Border Charm, Shop for Sino-Russian New Year Goods." The fair got off to a strong start, with sales exceeding 1.5 million yuan within the first three hours of opening.

From February to March this year, Heihe City plans to invest 27.4 million yuan to launch the "Enjoy Cross-Border Charm, Shop for Sino-Russian New Year Goods" series of consumption promotion activities, aiming to create a new pattern of "government building the stage, businesses performing, citizens benefiting, and cross-border interaction." The activities are rolled out in a "1+4+N" format: one city-wide launch event, four themed specials (New Year Shopping Fair, Supermarket Promotions, Automotive Upgrades, Lantern Festival Culture & Tourism), and numerous county-specific events.

A representative from the Heihe Commerce Bureau explained that the New Year Shopping Fair adopts a format combining "exhibition and sales" with "instant discounts via UnionPay's QuickPass." It features products from brands like "Heitu Youpin" (Black Soil Fine Products), "Jiuzhen Shibapin," and "Jijing Hanyang" (Polar Region Cold Nurture), alongside Russian specialty goods, with consumption vouchers distributed in phases. Participating supermarkets are simultaneously running instant discount promotions via QuickPass, helping citizens and tourists conveniently select special New Year goods and enjoy a strong festive atmosphere.

Additionally, from February 5th to February 28th, the automotive consumption upgrade activity provides tiered fixed-amount subsidies to individual consumers purchasing passenger vehicles (including new energy vehicles), with a maximum subsidy of 6,000 yuan. Automobile companies are encouraged to offer additional benefits like insurance subsidies and financial interest subsidies. On March 3rd, an integrated cultural, tourism, and commercial event for the Lantern Festival will be held at the Century Square in the city center. Consumers can enjoy spend-and-save discounts at designated merchants, accompanied by folk experiences like Yangge parade performances and Lantern Festival markets, making the consumption promotion "impactful, warm, and full of life."

Heihe City is driving forward with a determined spirit, synchronizing industrial upgrading, project construction, and market prosperity. This powerful momentum of "starting the year at a sprint" is not only accumulating new kinetic energy for high-quality development during the "16th Five-Year Plan" period but also demonstrating the firm confidence and vigorous vitality of the entire city in striving for excellence and shaping the future.
