July 31 saw the Hong Kong Index night futures for August close at 26,021 points, rising 118 points or 0.456%, with a premium of 162 points over the spot index.
The total number of open interest contracts stood at 3,378, marking a decrease of 115,706 contracts. Net open interest contracts were reported at 2,634, down by 24,221 contracts.
