Chicmax Repurchases HKD 11.52 Million of H-Shares, Cutting Free Float by 0.26%

Shanghai Chicmax Cosmetic Co., Ltd. (Chicmax) disclosed that it bought back 520,800 H-shares on 10 September 2026 through on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The repurchase price ranged between HKD 21.74 and HKD 22.50 per share, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 22.12 per share, bringing the total outlay to HKD 11.52 million.

Following the transaction, the number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) fell 0.26% to 203.54 million, while treasury shares rose to 2.98 million. The overall issued share capital remains unchanged at 206.52 million shares, as the repurchased stock is being held in treasury.

The buyback forms part of a mandate approved on 8 May 2026 that authorises Chicmax to repurchase up to 20.64 million shares. Including the latest transaction, cumulative repurchases under the mandate stand at 2.98 million shares, representing 1.45% of the company’s issued shares on the approval date.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, Chicmax is subject to a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or further sales of treasury shares, effective until 10 October 2026.
