Recently, Li Donghui, the Deputy Mayor of Yichun City in Heilongjiang Province, led a team to investigate the safety production work in the city's postal industry as the year draws to a close and a new one begins. The research team visited the sorting and distribution center of the Yichun Postal Branch to conduct an on-site inspection of the mail processing workflow in the sorting operation area, gaining a detailed understanding of the fluctuations in mail volume entering and leaving Yichun during the holiday period, the measures in place to handle business peaks, and the staff duty arrangements.
Li Donghui emphasized the critical need to prioritize operational safety in sorting activities, enhance equipment maintenance and process standardization, and resolutely prevent the occurrence of safety incidents. In response to the characteristic sharp increase in business volume, a comprehensive investigation and rectification of potential risks and hidden dangers in operational sites, fire safety, vehicles, and electricity usage must be carried out. He stressed the importance of reinforcing the primary responsibility of enterprises to ensure that mail processing is safe, efficient, and unimpeded, and to fully guarantee the public's demand for delivery services.
