When the first rays of the New Year's sun spread across the mountains and seas, and over every inch of land we have cultivated, I extend, on behalf of China Overseas Group, the most sincere wishes to all colleagues and their families working across Hong Kong, Macau, overseas, and throughout the nation! I also extend heartfelt thanks to our partners, investors, and friends from all sectors of society who journey with us!
The chimes marking the New Year signal the finale of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the prelude to the "15th Five-Year Plan." These past five years have been a journey where droplets merge into the ocean; each drop has accumulated the energy to break through waves and lead the tide, and each drop reflects the figures who have persevered through wind and rain.
At this moment at the crest of the tide, each of us is a drop of water, a source leading the tide. What connects the past and the future is our trail of tangible, resolute steps taken one solid footprint at a time.
Looking back over these five years, we have navigated turbulence with steadfastness and advanced with stability, becoming a reliable force serving the broader context of national development.
Amid market fluctuations, we focused on a clear direction, deepening our core business operations. Our real estate business surged ahead, with sales, investment, and profits firmly anchoring it at the industry's forefront. Our construction business, built on a model of "Technology + Investment + Construction + Asset Operation," established differentiated competitiveness and achieved sustained high growth even in a downturn. Property services expanded from safeguarding good residential complexes and communities to a broader landscape of urban operations. The moat formed by countless droplets has made the foundation of stable, high-quality development increasingly distinct.
Looking back over these five years, we have consistently focused on value creation, serving the new development paradigm through practical action and responsibility.
From urban renewal projects like Beijing's Daji Alley and Shanghai's Jianguo East Road, to the expansion of the New Territories West Landfill in Hong Kong, six Hospital Authority hospital projects and Hong Kong's first Chinese medicine hospital, the Macau Light Rail East Line and the University of Macau's Hengqin campus construction, and the day-and-night safeguarding of over 460 million square meters of property services—including Beijing Union Medical College Hospital, Renmin University of China's Tongzhou campus, Shenzhen's Shekou Street, and the Hong Kong Palace Museum—our dedication to "building the motherland and prospering Hong Kong and Macau" is evident everywhere. Those benchmark buildings and meticulous service scenarios carry the mission of "We Manage Happiness."
Looking back over these five years, we have actively practiced new development concepts, breaking new ground with innovation and pursuing light through technology.
The "COB Better Home LivingOS" standard system has been continuously refined, and the COB Jiu Xu series products have sold well against the trend. The honor of winning five Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Awards reflects our relentless pursuit of innovation and unwavering commitment to quality. The iterative upgrade of MiC modular technology, akin to building houses like cars, enabled the rejuvenation of Building 8, Huapichang Hutong in Beijing within 100 days on its original site, and is now comprehensively revitalizing 65 Nong, Tianlin Road in Shanghai and Building 28, Sanlihe No.1 Compound in Beijing. Core technologies for complex double-curved curtain walls have made the Hong Kong Central Murray Road project stunning in the urban forest. The operation of the BIPV production line continues to expand the territory of green building. Every spark of wisdom illuminates our journey of technological innovation.
Looking back over these five years, we have fulfilled our social responsibility through public welfare, creating a better life together through our commitment.
The path of assistance under the "Haihui Wanjia" initiative has allowed the hopes of rural revitalization to grow in the fields. The sound of children reading in hope primary schools is the most beautiful echo of the future. Whether it's the steadfast commitment to "Bidding Farewell to Substandard Subdivided Flats," "Repairs for Ten Thousand Grassroots Households," and "Creating Bright 'Teens'," or the righteous acts of "Emergency Disaster Relief" and the persistence of the "Pearl Retrieval Plan," every act of responsibility is a promise fulfilled towards our mission of managing happiness.
Standing at the starting point of the "15th Five-Year Plan," with mountains and seas ahead and winds and waves beside us, we take dreams as our vessel and embark on the journey fearlessly.
