China Taiping Insurance Holdings announced that profit attributable to owners for the six months ended 30 June 2026 is projected to rise between 85% and 95% from the prior-year period.
Based on the 2025 interim profit of HK$6.76 billion, management estimates 1H26 attributable profit in the range of approximately HK$12.51 billion to HK$13.19 billion.
The company cited stronger insurance service results and a higher investment return as the primary drivers of the anticipated increase, noting continued execution of its “high-quality development” strategy and stable, value-oriented insurance operations.
The figures are derived from the group’s preliminary assessment and have not been independently reviewed. China Taiping plans to release its full interim results by the end of August 2026 and advised shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in its shares.
