SGX Filings05-03 14:14

Singapore Exchange (S68) said on May, 03 2026 that its wholly owned unit, Baltic Exchange Information Services Limited, received a claim from Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. on Apr, 30 2026 alleging the Baltic Exchange failed to meet statutory and contractual duties in compiling the TD3C benchmark amid ongoing events in the Gulf.

The exchange operator rejected the allegations, stating that the Baltic Exchange produces its benchmarks under established governance frameworks, methodologies and oversight processes.

SGX added that the Baltic Exchange has released a separate statement expressing full confidence in its procedures, calling the claim “without merit” and pledging to defend its position to the fullest extent.
