According to data from the National Development and Reform Commission, international crude oil prices experienced a rapid decline followed by volatile trading after the previous domestic fuel price adjustment on July 31. The average price over the 10 working days leading up to the current adjustment was lower than the average price of the 10 working days before the last adjustment.
Based on the changes in international oil market prices, from 24:00 on August 14, the prices of domestic gasoline and diesel (standard products) will be reduced by 230 yuan per ton and 220 yuan per ton, respectively.
Companies including PetroChina, Sinopec, and CNOOC, along with other crude oil processing enterprises, are required to organize the production and transportation of refined oil products. This is to ensure stable market supply and strictly comply with national pricing policies.
Local authorities in various regions are to intensify market supervision and inspection efforts. They are to strictly investigate and punish any violations of the national pricing policy to maintain normal market order. Consumers can report any price violations through the 12315 platform.
