A 500-megawatt solar power project in Lingwu City, Ningxia, has been made public.
The project, named the Zhonghuan Lingwu 500MW Photovoltaic Complex Project, involves an investment of 1.25 billion yuan by the developer, Lingwu Linglu New Energy Co., Ltd.
According to the environmental impact assessment report, the project site is located in Majiatan, Lingwu City. Construction is expected to take approximately nine months.
The total land area for the installation is 641.35 hectares. The project will have a total installed capacity of 500MW, specifically 500.0905MWp.
It plans to install 689,676 photovoltaic modules, each with a capacity of 725Wp.
Lingwu Linglu New Energy Co., Ltd. was established in November 2025. Its business scope includes wind power technology services, solar power technology services, and contract energy management.
The company is indirectly held by China General Nuclear Power Corporation and Tcl Zhonghuan Renewable Energy Technology Co.,Ltd. (SHE: 002129).
