Scholar Education buys back 520,000 shares under award scheme at HK$1.25 average

Scholar Education Group disclosed that the trustee of its share award scheme purchased 520,000 shares on 3 June 2026. The on-market transaction represents approximately 0.08 % of the company’s issued share capital and carried a total consideration of about HK$0.65 million, based on an average purchase price of HK$1.25 per share.

Following the latest buyback, the trustee now holds 23.30 million shares in Scholar Education, equivalent to 3.46 % of the shares outstanding. Management reiterated that the current market price undervalues the group’s fundamentals and signalled readiness to authorise further purchases when conditions are favourable.

The board will continue to determine the quantity and vesting conditions of any future share grants to selected participants in line with the rules of the award scheme.
