China Telecom Reports Eight Provincial Units with 2025 Profits Between 1-3 Billion Yuan

Deep News04-30

Profits serve as a key measure of operational efficiency and profitability for provincial branches of telecom operators. Following a previous review of China Telecom's provincial companies with profits exceeding 3 billion yuan in 2025, this analysis focuses on those with profits ranging from 1 billion to 3 billion yuan.

First, the number of provincial companies within this profit range is substantial, totaling eight. These include branches such as Hunan Telecom and Guangxi Telecom, and notably, Yunnan Telecom is also among them. Hunan Telecom came very close to surpassing the 3 billion yuan profit threshold, demonstrating the company's strong operational capabilities. Guangxi Telecom also delivered an impressive performance, with 2025 profits exceeding 2 billion yuan, which was somewhat unexpected. The remaining companies in this group maintained profits in the range of over 1 billion yuan.

Although these provincial companies fall into the mid-tier in terms of profit scale, their significant number makes them crucial pillars supporting the steady development of the group. While profit is an important indicator for comprehensively assessing the operational results, management level, and strategic execution of provincial telecom companies, it is essential to also consider other metrics such as revenue growth, market share, and service quality to fully evaluate their overall performance.
