Barclays PLC Increases Stake in XXF Group by 39.92 Million Shares at HK$1.33 per Share

According to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Barclays PLC acquired an additional 39.9225 million shares in XXF Group (02473) on March 13 at a price of HK$1.3317 per share. The total transaction value amounted to approximately HK$53.1648 million. Following this acquisition, Barclays PLC's total shareholding in the company increased to approximately 91.6501 million shares, representing a 5.92% stake. Additional information indicates that the notifiable interest arose due to an increase in equity shares. Interests disclosed under box 22, including BBPLC's long and short positions in 7.19 million shares and BCSL's short position in 4.91 million shares and long position in 2.28 million shares, relate to an intra-group hedging arrangement between BBPLC and BCSL. Interests arising from the hedge are not double-counted at the Barclays PLC level.
