On Friday, U.S. silver mining stocks surged as silver prices hit a record high. At the time of writing, Silvercorp Metals (SVM.US) rose 0.7%, Hecla Mining (HL.US) gained over 4%, and Coeur Mining (CDE.US) climbed more than 2.8%. Hecla Mining (HL.US) advanced over 3.4%, while Coeur Mining (CDE.US) increased by more than 3%. Spot silver rose over 1%, reaching $64.31 per ounce.
