Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) announced on Monday the appointment of Dina Powell McCormick as its President and Vice Chair. This comes just weeks after she resigned from the board of the social media giant, having previously served as a senior advisor to former U.S. President Donald Trump.
McCormick brings a wealth of experience from a 16-year tenure in senior management roles at Goldman Sachs Group. She also held the position of Deputy National Security Advisor during Trump's first term in office.
