Exclusive: Only 7 China Telecom Provincial Branches Report Negative Quantum Revenue in First 10 Months; Liaoning Telecom Ranks Last

Deep News01-01

According to exclusive information from informed sources, China Telecom's quantum business revenue performed well in the first ten months of this year, achieving triple-digit growth, indicating a rapid development trend. However, Liaoning Telecom's performance in this business segment was poor, leading to a warning from the group. It is reported that as of the end of October, a total of 24 provincial branches of China Telecom achieved positive growth in quantum business revenue, while 7 provincial branches experienced negative growth; notably, Liaoning Telecom ranked last in the group with a year-on-year decline exceeding 50%. In terms of revenue scale, Liaoning Telecom is indeed a smaller provincial company, but its performance in the quantum business is still surprising. Liu Qing, Director of the Communications Business Department, stated that as China Telecom's quantum business is just emerging and in a phase of rapid development, Liaoning Telecom, being a smaller provincial branch, has missed the early development opportunities and will find it difficult to catch up later; it should prioritize the development of this "strategic new business." Currently, the Government and Enterprise Information Service Business Group of Liaoning Telecom is led by Deputy General Manager Sun Wei, who evidently needs to intensify his efforts.
