CITIC Announces Appointment of New Independent Director at Its Offshore Helicopter Unit

CITIC (HK: 00267) has announced that its subsidiary, Citic Offshore Helicopter Co.,Ltd., has appointed Mr. Sun Bing as an independent director of the company's ninth board of directors.

The appointment was made following approvals at the third meeting of the ninth board of directors held on September 3, 2026, and at the fourth extraordinary shareholders' meeting in 2026 held on September 22, 2026. Mr. Dong Tieniu, who previously served as an independent director on the ninth board, has stepped down from the position.

Mr. Sun Bing's tenure as independent director will commence from the date of approval and continue until the expiration of the ninth board's term. He will also serve as a member of the board's remuneration and appraisal committee. The Shenzhen Stock Exchange has reviewed and confirmed that Mr. Sun Bing's qualifications for the independent director role meet the required standards, with no objections raised regarding his independence.
