Iran's Joint Military Headquarters has stated that if the United States attacks Iranian infrastructure, "Iran will not allow even a single drop of oil" to be exported through the Strait of Hormuz.
The statement declared that, as a retaliatory measure, "oil, gas, electricity, and economic infrastructure in the region will become targets."
The statement further noted that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, and all vessels must strictly adhere to the navigation routes designated by Iran.
