According to the Guian New Area Media Convergence Center, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Guian New Area 200,000-ton-per-year high-end lithium battery material intelligent manufacturing project was held on October 29.

The project is invested and constructed by Guian New Area Kaijin New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangdong Kaijin New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Kaijin New Energy").

Luo Dandan, Vice President of Kaijin New Energy, introduced: "The project has a total investment of 3.555 billion yuan, covers 862 mu of land, and is being built in two phases. It is expected to be fully completed and put into production by June 2028."

Once the entire production line reaches full capacity, it is expected to achieve annual sales revenue of 5.5 billion yuan and provide more than 800 jobs.

Data shows that as a national-level specialized and sophisticated "little giant" enterprise focusing on the research, development, production, and sales of lithium battery anode materials, Kaijin New Energy's products feature high compaction density, high rate capability, and long cycle life, suitable for power batteries, energy storage batteries, and consumer batteries. Its customers include well-known domestic and international battery companies such as CATL, HiTHIUM, South Korea's LG, and SK.

After the project is completed and put into production, it will strengthen the new energy industry chain in the new area, expand the new materials industry cluster, and add new momentum to the high-quality development of Guizhou's new energy industry.
