ESPRIT HOLDINGS (00330) has issued a notice indicating that the company expects to record an unaudited net loss attributable to shareholders of approximately HK$88 million for the interim period. This compares with the previously disclosed unaudited net loss of roughly HK$39 million mentioned in an earlier announcement.
The change in the projected loss is attributed to an impairment charge of approximately HK$49 million recognized against the trademark, based on the latest external valuation.
