CGN Power Schedules 18 June 2026 EGM to Approve Acquisition of Cangnan Nuclear Power Stake

CGN Power Co., Ltd. has called its first extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of 2026 for 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, 18 June 2026, at the South Tower, CGN Building, Shenzhen. The sole agenda item is an ordinary resolution seeking shareholder approval for a discloseable and connected transaction involving the purchase of equity interests in two companies, one of which is Cangnan Nuclear Power, from parent entity China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN).

Key timetable • Register closure: 12–18 June 2026 (both dates inclusive). • Record date for H-shareholders’ voting entitlement: 18 June 2026. • Latest time to lodge H-share transfer documents: 4:30 p.m., 11 June 2026. • Deadline for submitting reply slips: 11 June 2026. • Proxy forms must be deposited no later than 24 hours before the meeting.

Governance and attendance Shareholders of record may attend in person or appoint one or more proxies. All resolutions will be decided by poll in accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rules. The meeting is expected to conclude within half a working day; attendees will bear their own travel and accommodation costs.

Board composition As of 18 May 2026, the Board comprises one executive director (Pang Songtao), four non-executive directors (Yang Changli, Li Li, Feng Jian, Liu Huanbing) and three independent non-executive directors (Wong Ming Fung, Li Fuyou, Xu Hua). The notice is signed by Chief Financial Officer, Joint Company Secretary and Board Secretary Yin Engang.
