On the news front, OMNIVISION announced on its official social media account today that it has released the industry's first 2.2-micron, 5-megapixel, global shutter high dynamic range (HDR) CMOS image sensor, the OG05D. The product is specifically designed for industrial machine vision applications and is suitable for barcode scanners, factory automation, compact AI cameras, humanoid robots, and is particularly well-suited for robotic training data collection devices.
According to Guosheng Securities, data collection serves as the "raw material" for providing training data to embodied large models such as VLA, and is the foundation for building a data flywheel and supporting a commercial closed loop. The growth of training data is an important factor in improving the capabilities of large language models, as data drives model capability enhancement.
