Embraer S.A. (NYSE: EMBJ) saw its shares plummet 5.13% during intraday trading on Friday, as the aircraft manufacturer's stock came under significant selling pressure.
The sharp decline was primarily driven by the company's fourth-quarter earnings falling short of analyst expectations. According to earnings reports, Embraer posted adjusted earnings of $0.45 per share for Q4 2025, which significantly missed the FactSet consensus estimate of $0.78 per share.
Despite the earnings miss, the company reported quarterly revenue of $2.65 billion, which exceeded the $2.54 billion analyst estimate. For the full year 2026, Embraer provided revenue guidance in the range of $8.2 billion to $8.5 billion, aligning with the FactSet consensus estimate of $8.45 billion.
