On September 17, 2026, BAMA TEA (06980) repurchased 50,000 H shares and held them as treasury shares. As a controlling shareholder with over one-third of the voting rights, Wenchao Wang is deemed to have an interest in those treasury shares, increasing his long position by 50,000 shares. The company repurchased the shares on-exchange at an average of HKD 30.846 per share, involving approximately HKD 1.54 million. This is not an active trade by Mr. Wang but a deemed acquisition due to the company's share buyback and treasury holding.

Prior to the event, Wenchao Wang's long position in BAMA TEA was 43.52 million shares, representing 51.24%; following the deemed acquisition, the holding changed to 43.57 million shares, with the long position ratio rising to 51.3%.

This involves related parties: Wang Wenbin, Wang Wenli, Chen Yajing, Wu Xiaoning, and Wang Xiaoping.
