JIANGXI BIO (06915) saw its share price climb more than 17% during the trading session, reaching an intraday high of HK$12.11, a new all-time high since its listing. At the time of writing, the stock was trading at HK$12.05, up 17.1%, with a turnover of HK$39.0691 million.
In a recent company announcement, JIANGXI BIO stated that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chifeng Boen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., has successfully obtained the "Veterinary Drug Product Approval Number Certificate" for a veterinary tetanus antitoxin product. This veterinary tetanus antitoxin is primarily used for the prevention and treatment of tetanus infections in animals. It provides passive immune protection for animals at risk of tetanus infection by neutralizing tetanus toxins.
The company’s board believes that securing this approval number certificate further enriches the group's product portfolio, laying a foundation for continued expansion into the animal health market. This development is expected to enhance the group's overall competitiveness and long-term growth potential.
According to its prospectus, JIANGXI BIO is China's largest provider and exporter of human tetanus antitoxin (human TAT) and a fully vertically integrated antiserum platform. Based on data from Frost & Sullivan, the company is the largest human TAT supplier in China and globally, holding market shares of 65.8% and 36.6%, respectively, by sales volume in 2024. In 2025, the company's total human TAT sales reached 29.9 million units, with 13.5 million units sold domestically in China and 16.4 million units exported to overseas markets.
