Fuel prices in Hainan will increase starting at midnight tonight, with the price of 95# gasoline rising by 0.32 yuan per liter to 9.77 yuan per liter, and 0# diesel rising by 0.31 yuan per liter to 7.84 yuan per liter. For a typical 50-liter tank of 92# gasoline, the additional cost will amount to roughly 15 yuan per refill. This adjustment follows the August 28 announcement from the National Development and Reform Commission's press center, which outlined a rise of 375 yuan per ton for gasoline and 360 yuan per ton for diesel at the standard product level.
In line with the current fuel pricing mechanism, the Hainan Provincial Development and Reform Commission has adjusted the maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel across the region, with the new rates taking effect from 24:00 on August 28. Additionally, due to the linked pricing rules for oil and gas, the retail price for compressed natural gas used in vehicles in Hainan will be raised from 5.37 yuan per cubic meter (equivalent to 7.46 yuan per kilogram) to 5.57 yuan per cubic meter (equivalent to 7.74 yuan per kilogram).
