The Gansu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently issued a notice announcing the sixth batch of Gansu Flavor agricultural product brand certifications and tiered development, with 11 corporate trademark brands from Wuwei City newly included in the provincial catalog. Additionally, one corporate trademark brand successfully added a new product category. This expansion continues to strengthen the city's specialty agricultural product brand portfolio, providing momentum for the high-quality development of modern, cold-drought characteristic agriculture.

The certification process was completed through a rigorous procedure involving independent applications, reviews at the city and county levels, provincial re-examination, multi-departmental joint review, and public announcement, ensuring high authority. The 11 newly selected brands from Wuwei cover a diverse range of sectors, including brewing, grain and oil processing, frozen foods, specialty condiments, livestock and poultry processing, snack foods, and alcoholic beverages. These brands encompass local high-quality names such as Yunxiao, Liangzhou, Jiaofulong, Yannian, Hongyuxinrong L600, Xiliang Jiangyin, Yuan Sige, Quanjianbao, Jinsuigeng, Zhenglin, and Huazangchun. Meanwhile, the Huangyanghe brand successfully added a potato product category, further expanding its product line.

Since the beginning of this year, Wuwei has leveraged its unique cold and drought resource advantages, aligning with the layout of three major characteristic industrial belts along the mountains, plains, and sandy areas. The city has deepened its brand-driven agricultural strategy, newly certifying 11 Three Products and One Standard agricultural products and 2 National Famous, Special, and Superior New Agricultural Products. To date, Wuwei has cultivated a total of 64 Gansu Flavor brands, including 4 regional public brands and 60 corporate trademark brands. The city also holds 321 effectively certified Three Products and One Standard agricultural products, forming a three-dimensional brand matrix led by regional public brands, supported by corporate trademark brands, and based on green and high-quality certified products.

Wuwei is making continuous efforts in quality control, standardized management, and market expansion. It guides enterprises to standardize the use of Gansu Flavor logos and improve traceability systems, promoting differentiated development to avoid homogeneous competition. At the same time, the city strengthens dynamic supervision and services to solidify the brand foundation.
