Employees at Airbus' Spanish division have voted to commence an indefinite strike beginning Tuesday, according to a statement from the company.
Members of the CGT, UGT, and ÚTIL unions at Airbus Spain reached the decision to strike during a vote held on Monday.
The company is currently evaluating how this new round of industrial action could affect its production schedules, client contracts, and commitments made to various institutions.
Following the meeting, the UGT union issued a statement indicating that union representatives took part in mediation talks on Friday, during which Airbus pledged to adjust wages in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
Nevertheless, the unions expressed that the overall proposal presented by the company remains insufficient.
