The regulatory authority in Ningbo has approved the appointments of Mr. Chen Yongming and Mr. Chen Chusheng as directors of Bank Of Ningbo Co.,Ltd. (SHE: 002142).
According to the bank's announcement, it received the official approval documents from the Ningbo Local Financial Regulatory Authority.
Background of the Appointees
Mr. Chen Yongming was born in April 1959 and is a Singaporean national. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. His current role is Advisor to the Group Chief Executive Officer of Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited. His previous positions include serving as the North East Asia Regional General Manager, CEO of the Hong Kong Branch, Group Executive Vice President, and Acting CEO for Greater China at OCBC. He also served as a director of the bank from January 2011 to February 2020.
Mr. Chen Chusheng was born in May 1963 and is also a Singaporean national. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He currently serves as a member of the Group Management Committee of OCBC and is the Chief Executive Officer of OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad. He joined OCBC in 2005 and has held positions including Senior Managing Director for Emerging Business and Group Managing Director for the International Business Division of Global Commercial Banking. He has been the CEO of OCBC Malaysia since January 2023.
