Oracle shares surged 5.05% during intraday trading on Thursday, driven by the company’s announcement of an expanded partnership with Google Cloud to integrate Google’s Gemini AI models into its enterprise application portfolio.
The collaboration will make Gemini models available to thousands of Oracle enterprise applications customers, including those using Fusion Applications and NetSuite. Customers will gain access to Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite and 3.5 Flash for advanced AI tasks, and the models will be integrated into the Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, allowing organizations to build and deploy AI-powered agents and automation workflows.
The move underscores Oracle’s push to embed generative AI capabilities across its cloud and enterprise software ecosystem, bolstering investor confidence in the company’s AI strategy and its ability to compete in the rapidly evolving enterprise AI landscape.
