New Summer Flight Routes Launch: Direct Flights from Changbai Mountain to Shanghai and Changchun to Altay

The 2026 summer travel season is approaching. In alignment with national strategies to promote the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China in the new era and based on aviation market demand in Jilin Province, China Southern Airlines is actively optimizing its route network. During the peak summer period, the airline is fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by planning to operate over 100 daily inbound and outbound flights in the Jilin market, providing greater convenience for travelers.

The airline is focusing on developing tourism and summer retreat routes in the Jilin region, with the addition of two new routes: Changbai Mountain to Shanghai and Changchun to Altay. The specific flight schedules are as follows:

The Changbai Mountain to Shanghai route will commence on June 19, with one daily flight. The outbound flight, CZ8247, departs from Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 07:25 and arrives at Changbai Mountain Airport at 10:10. The return flight, CZ8248, departs from Changbai Mountain Airport at 11:25 and arrives at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 14:20.

The Changchun to Altay route will launch on July 1, operating once every Wednesday and Saturday. The outbound flight, CZ5569, departs from Changchun Longjia International Airport at 07:20 and arrives at Altay Snow Capital Airport at 12:50. The return flight, CZ5570, departs from Altay Snow Capital Airport at 13:40 and lands at Changchun Longjia International Airport at 18:15.

Simultaneously, China Southern Airlines is launching its "6·18 Summer Tourism Festival" promotional series. Activities include daily discounted ticket purchases, free prize draws for benefits, enhanced mileage accumulation rewards, and exclusive member day offers on the 28th of each month featuring significant no-threshold ticket benefits. The airline is also introducing value-added products such as family travel plans, the Pearl Challenge Camp, seasonal travel promotions, senior citizen travel discounts, exclusive performance zones, and benefits for newly launched international routes.
