Provincial Government Inks Strategic Cooperation Agreement with China Communications Construction Group

On July 8th, a signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation agreement was held in Lanzhou between the provincial government and China Communications Construction Group.

The ceremony was attended by Vice Governor Wang Jun and the Group's General Manager Zhang Bingnan.

Currently, Gansu is vigorously implementing actions to strengthen its foundation, accelerating the construction of a modern, comprehensive, and three-dimensional transportation network. This involves enhancing main railway lines, extending branch lines, upgrading hubs, and ensuring the full connectivity of national expressways within the province. With a series of major transportation infrastructure projects set to commence during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, opportunities for cooperation between the two parties are expanding significantly.

The signing of this agreement represents a crucial step for both sides, based on development needs, to reinforce strategic alignment. According to the agreement, the parties will further deepen communication and coordination, jointly advance key project construction, and continuously expand the scope of their collaboration. They will engage in comprehensive cooperation across areas including transportation infrastructure, urban integrated development, water conservancy and ecological security barriers, and digital infrastructure, working together to support the high-quality economic and social development of Gansu.
